High End Money – Low Cost Report
The first time I realized that I could write an ebook and sell it for $27 on a small website I was amazed and excited. However, I also realized that if I wanted to make a lot of money I would have to sell a lot of books. My initial goal was to make $5,000 dollars a month. In order to do this I needed to sell 185 books each and every month. Like most newbies, I thought this was achievable. It did not take long before I realized this was hard work.
I then decided that maybe if I created more ebooks and did the same thing (wash, rinse, repeat) it would be easier to reach my goal. So, I created another product and began to sell it too. I began to make more money but once again I realized that this was hard work. Not only did I have to spend time researching, writing, editing, building the website, and answering questions, and customer service, I still had to promote both products and drive traffic to both sites.
So I plugged along for months creating new products and trying to keep up with everything that was required. I was mildly successful but the dream of spending more time with my family and other interests was not happening. I just kept getting busier and busier. That’s until I came across this report on starting a “highly profitable coaching program”.
The basic idea is that people will gladly pay you for your expertise and personal attention. Given a choice, I’d much rather pay a few hundred dollars to have someone show me how to set up a membership site, start a scrapbooking business (by the way my wife and I own one of the largest and most successful scrapbooking businesses online), or get my baby to sleep through the night. Being able to get feedback and ask questions obviously would make anything new we are doing faster and a lot easier.
Since most people are willing to pay a premium for this kind of personal attention I decided that this may just be the answer I had been looking for. Coaching programs sell for anywhere from a few bucks to several thousand dollars per month. I have been able to set up several niche membership sites and now consistently exceed my initial financial goal and I am working far less than I was in the beginning.
