Neurolinker Or Neurostinker?

neurolinkerHow do you go about getting your website to rank high in the search engine listings? Ask 100 people and get 100 different answers. However, almost everyone will agree that one-way backlinks are an important part of the strategy. The more relevant the backlinks, the better. The big dilemma is, how do you go about getting relevant backlinks in high enough quantity to make a difference?

I currently use three different systems, one of them is to make manual submissions to high page rank sites and the other two are automated systems that do the work for me. The one I am going to talk about today is Neurolinker.

Neurolinker was was created by Marc Ilgen. Marc has a Ph.D. in computer science and spent 25 years as a computer programmer who developed many different types of applications. Marc opened the doors to Neurolinker in September, 2008 and has continued to grow and enhance his system since then.

I have been using Neurolinker and tracking any additional movement in my keyword rankings above and beyond what I already experience by using my other systems. I also added some keyword anchors that I have not used before so that I could judge how it would work for new sets of keywords.

One of the “new” keyword anchors that I chose was a highly competitive keyword phrase (home based business) that averages anywhere from 450,000,000 to 500,00,000 searches each month. On Google, my site was already ranked anywhere from listing #85 to #95 pretty consistently. Considering that I had not done anything specifically for that keyword phrase other than normal SEO practices on my blog I was pretty happy with the results. Since incorporating Neurolinker and targeting that specific phrase I am now ranking around #48 and climbing. That is really a big jump for a keyword phrase that is this competitive.

Neurolinker
allows you to add up to 20 anchors. This really gives you a lot of different search combinations. However, there is a very cool feature that could double, triple, quadruple or even more your anchor text keyword combinations. This feature is very similar to article spinners in how it works. You are able to bracket and separate your longtail keywords with several options and the software will automatically pick and choose your keyword anchor text. The best way to explain it is to take it right from the Neurolinker website.

For example, instead of “fix windows registry” you can use this: “{fix|cure} {windows|xp|my pc} registry”. The items enclosed in curly braces {} and separated by the vertical bar | are the possible choices that Neurolinker will randomly choose from when giving you links. In this example, there are two choices in the first group (“fix” and “cure”) and three choices in the second group (“windows”, “xp”, and “my pc”). This means that in this example, there are 2 times 3, or 6 possible choices that Neurolinker will make for your anchor text:

fix windows registry
cure windows registry
fix xp registry
cure xp registry
fix my pc registry
cure my pc registry

I think you can see just how powerful this one feature of the software is.

Neurolinker works on a network system which is similar to the other automated system I use. This means that all the backlinks come from sites that are in the “network.” As long as the network continues to grow your backlinks will continue to grow. At the time of this writing there are over 4,200 sites in the network. Every site on the network is required to have a link page that Neuorlinker uses to send links from your site to other sites. None of these links are reciprocal. They are all one-way links to another site in the network. This is how you are gaining your links as well.

When setting up Neurolinker you have the option of choosing highly relevant links to your site or you can choose to allow most any kind of site to link to you. I opted for highly relative sites to link to mine as in my research the more relative the link back the better Google likes it. It appears that I am getting 3-5 backlinks pointing to my site per day from Neurolinker.

Now I must admit that not all links that are pointing to my site are what I would consider highly relevant. However, the majority of them are, and I am able to delete the links that I don’t want. I was also pleased to see that not all of the backlinks pointing to my site are page rank 0 sites. So far I have seen sites who have a page rank of 0 up to a page rank of 4 pointing to my site.

You can also check the number of links to your site as well as the actual sites sending you links in your Neurolinker main page. From there you can also check the sites that are linking out from yours, your articles and your hosted articles.

Another feature that I found to be pretty cool in this software is the article marketing capability. You are able write up to 100 articles per site you have on the system and you can have up to 100 sites for your $27 monthly membership fee. These articles are just like any other that you would submit to an article directory. They include a headline, body and bio. Once the article is approved and submitted it can appear on as many sites as are linked to you. So if you had 100 sites (on the network) that were linking to you then all of them (in theory) could have your article with links pointing to your website, your affiliate pages, your products, etc.

The same is true in reverse. If you would like to host other’s articles on your site then you can allow that as well. This could give you plenty of free content on a regular basis. You can also pick and choose what content is placed on your site. You have complete control over the articles that are placed on your site. This could be very useful especially if you have a lot of affiliate offers or adsense in your sidebars. The more pages you have the more opportunity people have to see your offers.

We all know how important social bookmarking is in today’s Web 2.0 world. Once again this software offers you a solution to give and gain valuable social bookmarking links. The system is set up so that every person on the network has the opportunity to bookmark someone else’s site. Chances are that you are already bookmarking your own and if not then you should be. When you bookmark, stumble or Digg someone else’s website you check a box stating what you have done. In theory the webmaster of that site will reciprocate in kind and do the same for your site. Even if they do not there are so many people in the network right now that are using this valuable feature you are bound to gain many valuable one-way links from this system.

The last feature that I am going to go over is the WordPress blog link network that you can use if you are a member of Neurolinker. This network is made specifically for WordPress blogs and provides users with a potentially unlimited number of one way backlinks to whatever website that user chooses to link to. This is normally done with a “feeder” WordPress blog. What I mean by this is that you would create a blog specifically to get posts from other blogs on the network and then send links to any of your “money” sites.

By doing this you can get many relevant one-way backlinks to your “money” site without using any kind of link pages or other footprints. These links would simply be pure one-way backlinks from a blog (or blogs, you could make as many as you wish) and the content on each of them would be related to the content of your “money site.” This is very similar to the Linkvana system which is highly touted and would cost you a cool $147 per month while Neurolinker is a mere $27 per month.

My Likes:
Anchor text capability – Plenty of opportunity to target specific keyword phrases
WordPress Link Network – A great way to create a mini blog link network on autopilot
Customer Service – Marc answers the questions himself via his help desk and there is a forum of experienced users that can help as well.
Easy to configure and requires no real maintenance.

My Dislikes:

It is a bit cumbersome to install on a WordPress Blog and you must put a link on your front page to your outbound link page. I don’t like that at all.
The “highly” relative links are not always as relative as I would like

You can purchase a membership to Neurolinker or if you still need a little more information you can go to my Neurolinker site and get your free web traffic guide as well.

If you have had any experience with Neurolinker and would like to tell us please feel free to leave a comment. If you have any questions I am happy to answer them as well via the comment section.

  1. No matter how good a product is, there will always be a downside to it anyway. Neurolinker sounds like a good program but it still has flaws that one need to live with if he really wants the benefits of the product. Thanks for sharing the info.

  2. That’s true, no product is perfect and I mentioned some of the things I did not like about it. However, so far this automated program has increased my search engine ranking position (SERP) by over 30 positions on a term that gets searched more than 475,000,000 times per month. That’s pretty amazing in and of itself.

As I write this comment my ranking is: (43) Results 41 – 50 of about 483,000,000 for home based business

I have to say I am pretty happy with those kind of results.

Thanks for being such a faithful reader and commenter. Your input is appreciated.
