For those of you who read my blog on a regular basis you know that I am not one who subscribes to the hype theory. I believe that if you simply provide people with the truth and benefits of a product then they can make an informed decision. However, when it comes to information marketing, especially in the Internet Marketing niche, hype is the common, prevailing theme. So as you read this Clickbank Code Review you probably won’t find a lot of hype. You will find the facts, the benefits, and my opinion. But as with any business endeavor it is you who must ultimately make the decision as to whether this is the right product for you.

The Clickbank Code was created by Michael Jones. Michael is an experienced internet marketer and has made a lot of money online. However before this product was launched it is my understanding that he had not really used Clickbank as a primary method of income. Perhaps Michael will come across this post and answer the question. The thing to realize at this point is that the launch of the Clickbank Code shot him to the top of the Clickbank rankings and shows that he has the knowledge of the Clickbank Marketplace and how to promote, launch and market a Clickbank product.

What Is The Clickbank Code?

The Clickbank Code is a complete step-by-step training course provided in video format that covers a variety of methods used to create income as an affiliate marketer via Clickbank. This video course includes everything you need as an affiliate marketer for Clickbank Products such as, keyword research, driving traffic, Adwords for testing and for driving traffic, and how to setup your site for maximum sales.  Included with the core Clickbank Code course Michael has included a bonus PPC Profits video course. This course adds another 19 videos to the already impressive 28 videos in the core course.

The claim is that Michael Jones made over $46,000 in less than 4 weeks using the approach that he advocates in his system. While no one can really verify that other than Michael, it is easy to figure out that at the product’s current pricing level it would take approximately 600 sales to achieve this amount of money. With the launch that took place and the number of affiliates selling this product it is not hard to believe this number as true.

The Clickbank Code Review

The course is set up as 6 individual modules that include a total of 28 videos. Another 19 videos that cover PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising are included as a bonus to those who purchase the course. Below I have provided an overview of each module and what it contains.

Module #1. Making A Killing As An Affiliate

• Video #1 – Online Introduction
  This video provides you a brief introduction that describes what to expect in this module.
• Video #2 – What is Clickbank
  The information in this video is aimed at people who are new to Clickbank. It provides the viewer with the necessary knowledge to navigate Clickbank successfully.
• Video #3 – How To Be Successful
  This video covers 3 important pieces of the affiliate success cycle. The first one is setting attainable goals. The second talks about the importance of tracking. and the third piece is scaling up your product promotion.
• Video #4 – Marketing Terms
  Micheal covers a few different marketing terms that are used in any kind of marketing but especially useful if you are going to use Clickbank as one of your sales models.
• Video #5 – Process Overview
  This video gives you an overview of the process that Michael uses in order to be successful as a Clickbank Affiliate.
• Video #6 – Pick Products
  This is probably the best video in this module. Michael goes through the Clickbank Marketplace and walks you through the process that he uses to pick a profitable product. He then takes you to the Google Keyword Analyzer tool and shows you how to pick keyword phrases and evaluate the cost per click if you are using PPC to drive traffic. By putting the Clickbank Evaluator Spreadsheet into play with the information you have collected you will know with certainty whether or not a product is viable.
• The 3 main goals of this video are:
  • How to pick products to promote
  • How to analyze keyword ideas and build a keyword list
  • How to analyze the viability of a product using the Clickbank Evaluator Spreadsheet. This spreadsheet could be sold as a product all by itself. It is a powerful tool that tells you whether a product is worth promoting or not.

Module #2. Powerful Keyword Research

• Video #1 – Keywords Research
  A good primer on keyword research methods. If you are familiar with how to research keywords then you could skip the information in this video. However, if you are still unsure about the proper methods to use in keyword research then this video will give you a good basic understanding.
• Video #2 – Important Sorting and Filtering
  More information on keyword research and how to categorize, filter and sort your findings. This is a very good informational video for those who are still learning how to navigate through keyword research techniques. Michael also uses the Clickbank Evaluator Spreadsheet extensively in this video so you can see exactly how it works.

Module #3. It’s All About The Offer

• Video #1 – Setting Up Your Offer
  This video is an overview of what is going to be discussed in the remaining videos in this module.
• Video #2 – Your Domain
  You will learn why the things you may have learned about domain names are not absolutely necessary using Michael’s methods. What is important and what is not when it comes to purchasing a domain name. He also gives you a few resources on where to find deleted and/or active domain names for the products you are promoting.
• Video #3 – Your Hosting Account
  If you are familiar with obtaining and setting up your own hosting account then you can skip this video. If you have never set up your own hosting account before then this video will lead you through the process in an easy to understand manner.
• Video #4 – Creating Your Landing Pages
  This video stresses the importance of setting up your landing page and offer the right way so you don’t get hit by the phenomenon known as the “GOOGLE SLAP”. He talks about how to presell your product and goes beyond just the landing page. Michael basically gives you the whole site setup in this video.
• Video #5 – The Story
  Learn how to get into the mind of your visitor by using a story. Show them what’s in it for them and how to create a “character” in the story. The story can very well be the difference between a sale and no sale.
• Video #6 – Action Steps
  The information in this video should be common sense to anyone but as I have learned through teaching others and even as I have come across other marketer’s pages this is required information. Short, sweet and to the point.

Module #4. Buyers On Demand

• Video #1 – Overview
  This video sets up the rest of the videos in the module that go into more detail about:
  • Creating An Adwords Campaign
  • Getting 300-500 Clicks per day
  • Tracking and Evaluating
  • Picking the Winners and Losers

• Video #2 – Spot The Winners
  This video will teach you how to determine which campaign is going to be a winner and which ones you want to throw away and not waste your money on. You will learn what your objectives are in each campaign, how to know when to disqualify a campaign, how to determine what the promising products look like with each campaign, and last but not least evaluating what a “possible” product might look like.
• Video #3 – Scale It Up
  This video is going to give you a step by step process in how to manage your campaigns and tweak them so that they bring greater profit. You will see how to drive more of the same kind of traffic, keyword expansion, the most profitable keywords, what keywords to drop, placement targeting, email marketing, and seo.
• Video #4 – Solutions For Adwords Problems
  Adword tips and techniques that will help you with your campaigns. Things like no clicks or not enough clicks, no traffic, no sales, expensive clicks, the Google Slap, CTR drops, sales dropping, and more.

  How to ramp up your efforts to bring more traffic to your site. You will learn about using certain Social Bookmarking sites, sites where you pay for views and ratings and there is even a black hat method thrown out there if you care to use it.

  A nice comparison of the two methods of traffic and the pros and cons of using each one.
• Video #3 – Expose the Power of Merging PPC and SEO
  This video talks quite a bit on how to properly market your sites and products using niche forums. Numerous methods are explored and the reasons why this type of traffic generation is so profitable.
• Video #4 – Quickly Locate Forums in Your Niche
  Excellent tips on finding forums that are in the niche you are targeting. Short, sweet and to the point.
• Video #5 – Get Other People to Post
  Learn tricks and techniques to get other people to post for you in the niche forums. The reason why this is so powerful and how cost effective it can be. Also learn how to ensure that the people who are working for you are doing a good job.
• Video #6 – Effective Forum Posting
  This video gives you plenty of tips and techniques to ensure that your forum marketing strategy is successful. If you think you know about forum marketing then you may be surprised. There are many good ideas and methods in this set of forum marketing videos.

Well that concludes the information that is included in the Clickbank Code core product.

• The Cash On Demand Module – This module is a course on email marketing. It takes you from the basics to advanced concepts to ensure that your email campaigns are profitable.
• The Torrential Traffic Tactic – This module includes 14 videos totaling 15 hours of traffic driving information. This module alone is worth the price of the upgrade for most people.

After reviewing the Clickbank Code here are my findings:

The Positive:
In my opinion this course is perfect for the brand new affiliate marketer. Every module, and every video is easy to follow, and understand. Some of the material is a bit basic for a more seasoned marketer but even so, unless you are already making a full time living from online sales you can benefit from Michael’s excellent teaching style and his insights throughout the course.

There is PDF document for each set of videos so that you can use them as cheat sheets or have them to read over at a later time.

You can basically look over his shoulder as Michael goes through the steps of his program and watch as he does keyword research, picks products, etc.

You will learn everything you need to know in order to succeed as a Clickbank affiliate.

The Negative:
I don’t think that it is completely clear by the sales page that this product that is mainly teaching you how to profit by using Adwords. Even though there are several methods in the course teaching you other traffic methods, Adwords is the main thrust for testing and sending traffic to your landing pages. A second negative is the $500 per day Adwords budget that is proposed. For most new marketers or even those who are not yet making much money this can be more that they can afford.

The Recommendation:
I believe that it is a beneficial product if you are new to affiliate marketing or not yet making much money with your current efforts. If that is the case then I can recommend purchasing the Clickbank Code.

If you are already making steady money using affiliate marketing and Adwords then you might be better to spend your money in a more specialized type of product.
