4 Tips To Keep Visitors Coming Back

Keep Your Visitors Coming BackThey say that content is king and I happen to agree. If you look at the biggest launches going on around the net then you will realize that this is true. Some of the best and what was once secret information is being given away in order to persuade you to buy the next biggest thing. Power techniques, informative videos, tutorials and tons of valuable information is available if you have the discipline to take what they are giving and use it.

High quality content will attract visitors and search engines to your site. By now you should know that the more targeted visitors you have the more money you will make. In order to make that happen you must constantly be updating your site(s).

Below you will find 4 tips that will help you create and maintain a high quality content site that people will continue to visit.

  1. Ensure that your website layout is simple and easy to navigate. The easier it is to find the information your visitors are looking for the better chance you have of keeping them on your site. Generally, flashy graphics and other distracting features are not necessary and can actually drive your visitors away. Concentrate on content and you will always be safe.
  2. Craft good headlines. This is the first thing that people see when they are scanning your page and it is what will draw them into reading your material. Also ensure that your first paragraph or two is engaging. No matter how good the headline is, if the content is boring you will probably lose the reader. Capture your reader’s interests and provide them with the information they are looking for.
  3. Update your website frequently. If your site has the same thing every time a visitor stops by, guess what? They will quit stopping by!! Another benefit of frequent updating is that the search engines will spider your site more often and you can build your page rank.
  4. Last but not least is consider using a blog as your site platform. They are easy to setup, easy to maintain and the search engines love them.

Many of you have heard this before but a review of the basics is always valuable. Review your site and see if you are using basic strategies that will keep your visitors coming back over and over, and remember give them the most valuable content you can provide. The better the content the more often they will return.

If you have any suggestions or ideas that our readers could benefit from I would love to hear them. Please post comments below.

  1. Great tips! for me finding a good headline is the hardest part because it looks as if someone else has already used the same headline, so the google spiders will not like that too much right. Also I read another good method that is by giving your visitors free stuff and promise another gift in few weeks time.

  2. I love your tips! I actually take note of these things whenever I look and read blogs. The third one is the most important, in my opinion. Blogs need to be updated, or else just close it down! :(

  3. Thanks very much. I appreciate you taking the time to read and comment.
