The “If You’re Like Me” Internet Marketing Strategy

This strategy uses the similarity factor. You are basically comparing your prospects to yourself. –

  • If you’re like me then you don’t have time . . .
  • If you’re like me then you are tired of being ripped off . . .
  • If you’re like me and need to make money fast . . .
  • If you’re like me and are just plain lazy . . .
  • If you’re like me _______________________ . . .

When using this internet marketing strategy you are telling your prospects that you understand how they feel. This creates an immediate bond. You let them know that you want to improve their life with your product and then explain how your product will do that.

  1. The basic point of this post is understanding how your consumers feel. As indicated in the post “this creates an immediate bond”. You make them feel that you are with them and you feel what they need.

During your visit to this blog, you may notice that I occasionally promote, endorse, or suggest products and/or services for sale. In some cases, I will be compensated if you decide to purchase that product based on my recommendation. In some cases, I will receive the product for free for review purposes. Always use due-diligence before making any purchases and never purchase anything that you cannot afford. Most people don’t do anything with the products they buy, so most of the time, their typical results are zero.
