Lock It In Now – Internet Marketing Strategy

The “lock it in now” strategy is one that tells your prospects that if they don’t lock in the price immediately they are subject to other fees later. This could mean (an you should spell it out) things like the price of the product will be raised, there may be monthly fees associated with the product later, or this “lock it in now” internet marketing strategy could mean that updates will be included for free now but may not be available later without paying for them. There are a number of ways this strategy can be used effectively.

If your prospect is even remotely interested in your product this strategy could push them to the point of making the purchase now, in order to avoid the painful consequence of future fees, higher prices, etc. To make it even more effective give them a date when the switch will happen. Be careful to follow through because if you don’t you will lose the trust of your prospect or customer.

  2. You are correct in all your points. These little nuggets are simply strategies to help persuade a person to purchase now. They are not meant to be an overall strategy for your marketing campaign.

During your visit to this blog, you may notice that I occasionally promote, endorse, or suggest products and/or services for sale. In some cases, I will be compensated if you decide to purchase that product based on my recommendation. In some cases, I will receive the product for free for review purposes. Always use due-diligence before making any purchases and never purchase anything that you cannot afford. Most people don’t do anything with the products they buy, so most of the time, their typical results are zero.
