This Does The Same Thing As… – Internet Marketing Strategy

This strategy is perfect if you have created a product that is a quality alternative to a more expensive product. Sometimes the high-end products that are available have all the bells and whistles, which is part of the reason they are more expensive. You may have a product (or you can create one) that does essentially the same thing but it does not include everything that the higher priced item has.

In this case you can advertise that your product “Does the same thing as…” but can be had for a lower price. Be sure to explain the differences and why they are not necessary or not included. You want to ensure that you keep the trust between you and your prospects/customers.

There are many products that are just out of reach for some people and this strategy will help you gain those customers!

Have you ever used this strategy? Have you ever seen it used? Have you ever purchased a lower priced item that did essentially the same thing as another more expensive product? What was your experience? Let us know by commenting below.

During your visit to this blog, you may notice that I occasionally promote, endorse, or suggest products and/or services for sale. In some cases, I will be compensated if you decide to purchase that product based on my recommendation. In some cases, I will receive the product for free for review purposes. Always use due-diligence before making any purchases and never purchase anything that you cannot afford. Most people don’t do anything with the products they buy, so most of the time, their typical results are zero.
